Erin Andrews began her career in 2001 with The Sunshine Network in Tampa Bay, FL., where she covered the Tampa Bay Lightening. And after she moved up to covering Atlanta sports for Turner Television, she was hired in 2004 as an NHL reporter for ESPN, but they had her doing sideline reporting for a variety of different sports including: Thursday night College Football, Sunday night baseball on ESPN. Andrews has gone through severe harassment and discrimination throughout her career with people constantly seeing her as just a feminine touch. She had a severe stalking incident which she took and turned into a positive and now advocates for harsher stalking laws (Manfred, 2011). After eight years at ESPN, Andrew signed back with FOX sports and now works with FOX NFL play-by-play announcer Joe Buck and analyst Troy Aikman, rules expert Mike Pereira and Kristina Pink for Thursday Night Football on FOX in addition to Americas Game of the Week (Fox Sports Press Pass).
