Dianna Russini began her career interning with Diane Sawyer at ABC News and later worked in Connecticut for NBC. She reported for the U-Conn Women’s basketball team when they reached the Final Four. She then moved to WRC-TV in Washington, D.C. where she was the main sports anchor and anchored the evening sportscast (ESPN Press Room).
Russini joined ESPN in 2015 as a year-round NFL and XFL report. She contributes reporting, breaking news, analyses and features on NFL Live, Sunday NFL Countdown, Fantasy Football Now, Get Up and SportsCenter (ESPN Press Room).
Throughout her career, Russini has had the opportunity of working for Comcast Sports in Seattle, WNBC in New York and News 12, N.Y. Russini was one of the first reporters on the scene during the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting, which she says is one of the most significant and changing moments in her career (ESPN Press Room).
